316 Stainless Steel

Type 316 is a non-hardenable, non-magnetic stainless steel in an annealed condition that is part of austenitic chromium-nickel family. It has improved corrosion to chlorides and heat resistance than Type 304, but may be susceptible to chloride stress cracking.
